Essential food support
Deep poverty affects 821 million people worldwide, making it difficult for them to provide food for their families. The uncertainty of their next meal has a ripple effect on various aspects of their lives, including their health and energy levels. Consequently, many are unable to work, while children struggle to concentrate in school, exacerbating their families’ poverty levels.

In times of crisis, the Al Huda Way Organization provides emergency food packages that serve as a lifeline for vulnerable families. Additionally, we implement longer-term projects aimed at addressing poverty’s root causes and fostering sustainable solutions for lasting community change.
Our Al Huda Way Organization team also facilitates vocational training for disadvantaged community members to create new livelihood opportunities. We also equip farmers with essential resources such as seeds, livestock, and equipment to earn a living and establish irrigation schemes to increase food production.
In Yemen, where 80% of families lack food security, we will partner with the United Nations World Food Programme to distribute food vouchers and packages containing essential staples like rice, flour, and oil to crisis-affected families.
In addition, the Al Huda Way Organization addresses malnutrition through preventive care and treatment offered in communities and health facilities.
Every Ramadan, we distribute food parcels containing crucial items such as oil, flour, and dates to vulnerable families worldwide. These food parcels help them prepare for the month of Ramadan, easing concerns about accessing food to break their fasts every evening.
Furthermore, our global Qurbani program provides meat to disadvantaged families, enabling them to celebrate Eid without worrying about access to food.
