Supporting communities through sustainable livelihoods

In many regions around the world, people face significant challenges in finding employment and earning a steady income to support themselves and their families. This struggle can make everyday life difficult and cause stress and uncertainty about the future.

The Al Huda Way Organization seeks to address this issue by creating new and sustainable livelihoods, which can help to lift communities out of poverty and promote self-reliance. Through the distribution of cash grants and interest-free loans, the organization assists individuals in starting their own small businesses, while also providing them with the necessary training and equipment to achieve success.

In areas like Gaza and Yemen, where youth unemployment is rampant, Al Huda Way Organization provides support to meet basic needs, improve access to education, and foster new livelihoods. By enabling individuals to earn a living, they can provide for their families and fulfill essential needs, while also fostering a sense of hope and a brighter future.

Barber shops

Our organization provides support to vulnerable families around the world by establishing barber shops in their villages. This initiative not only enables families to earn a sustainable income but also helps to generate new job opportunities, benefiting the wider community.

Moreover, barber shops also serve as safe social spaces, fostering new connections and promoting social cohesion within the community. By facilitating a positive and welcoming environment, these shops contribute to building a stronger sense of community and social support.

Through this initiative, we aim to promote economic stability and social well-being for vulnerable families in Jordan. By empowering them to generate a reliable income and fostering a sense of community, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Beekeeping

Al Huda Way Organization has initiated a project to support refugees by providing vulnerable families with beehives, tools, and training in beekeeping. This project aims to empower these families by teaching them the skills they need to establish a reliable source of income.

Through this initiative, families are trained on how to harvest honey from the beehives, which they can then sell to their local community. By creating a sustainable livelihood, these families can gain greater financial stability and independence, which can make a significant difference in their lives.

Moreover, the project not only provides economic benefits but also fosters a sense of purpose and pride among the families involved. By learning a new skill and contributing to their local community, they can gain a greater sense of social connection and belonging.

Through this project, we strive to support vulnerable families and promote their well-being, providing them with opportunities to improve their quality of life and build a brighter future.

Chicken houses

Al Huda Way Organization has initiated a project to provide vulnerable families with chickens, chicken houses, incubators, and training on how to breed and care for chickens. This project aims to empower families by teaching them the skills and providing them with the resources necessary to establish a reliable source of income.

Once the chickens are reared, families can use the eggs for food or sell them at local markets for a profit. This not only provides a valuable source of nutrition but also enables families to earn an income that can be used to purchase essential items such as food or school supplies for their children.

By empowering vulnerable families to establish a sustainable source of income, we can help to promote their economic stability and well-being. Through this project, we aim to create a positive impact in the lives of these families and enable them to build a brighter future.

Coconut oil production

Local cooperatives have been set up to collaborate in building a sustainable community enterprise centered around the production of virgin coconut oil. These cooperatives are responsible for harvesting and marketing virgin coconut oil, which has generated employment opportunities and income for the local community. As a result, families are becoming more self-sufficient and are working towards a more secure future.

Fish ponds

Al Huda Way Organization has undertaken a global effort to establish artificial fish ponds as a means of promoting new livelihood opportunities. These ponds enable intensive fish farming, thereby generating employment prospects for fishermen and market vendors.

A single fish pond is capable of supporting 30 skilled fishermen and facilitating the establishment of 20 female-run fish-selling enterprises. This initiative is serving to establish dependable sources of income and food security, particularly for those communities that have been impacted by the repercussions of climate change.

Goat farms

Our organization collaborates with marginalized communities to establish goat farms, providing a reliable source of income for the locals.

These farms create employment opportunities for individuals involved in the rearing, selling, and distribution of goat milk, meat, and cheese products to the nearby community. Additionally, the construction of sheds and wells for the farms necessitates the recruitment of staff as well.

Furthermore, some of the products generated by our goat farms are donated to orphanages within the vicinity to support vulnerable children.

Handicraft training

Our organization collaborates with local cooperatives, women’s enterprises, and disadvantaged families to assist them in producing handicrafts and marketing their products. The manufacturing of handicrafts is an effective way for individuals to generate income, which is crucial for many.

This initiative aims to empower vulnerable families to break free from the cycle of poverty and construct a more secure future.

Livestock rearing

Al Huda Way Organization provides assistance to communities by supplying livestock, training, and equipment required for rearing animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. Our aim is to support these communities to generate income by selling various animal-based products, including meat and milk, to their local markets.

Raspberry farms

Our projects in many places are helping vulnerable families who were forced to leave their communities by supporting them with organic raspberry farms. This not only empowers them to become self-reliant but also enables them to rebuild their lives as they return to their homes. We are proud to support hundreds of families through our initiative.

Sewing machines

Through our initiative, the Al Huda Way Organization is providing sewing machines and training to vulnerable women to make clothes. We also facilitate access for them to sell their products in stores, which allows them to enhance their skills and earning potential.

This effort is aimed at empowering women to live with dignity, without having to rely on others for support. We are committed to supporting women and enabling them to become self-sufficient.

Tree planting

Al Huda Way Organization is collaborating with local communities to plant thousands of trees and distribute fast-growing seeds. This initiative aims to restore the environmental balance, promoting soil health for crop growth in the future.

Additionally, we work closely with communities to revitalize degraded land and introduce adaptive farming methods, which in turn enhances grazing land productivity.

By providing these resources, we aim to help communities increase food production, secure a stable source of income and nutrition, and promote self-sufficiency. Our goal is to support communities in need and to help them achieve long-term sustainable growth.

Vocational training

Al Huda Way Organization provides training in critical trades, such as carpentry, electrical repairs, hairdressing, mobile phone repair, and sewing, to individuals who have not had the opportunity to receive an education. This enables them to earn a reliable living and become self-sufficient.

Upon completing their training, individuals can apply for equipment grants, loans, or join existing projects to start their own businesses. We also offer assistance with business plans and start-up toolkits to ensure that they have the support they need every step of the way.

Our aim is to empower individuals and provide them with the resources they need to create a successful and sustainable career path.
