Support struggling communities and gain Allah’s pleasure through sadaqah
Sadaqa, also known as voluntary charity, is given with the intention of pleasing God. It encompasses a wide range of charitable acts towards others, including generosity, love, compassion, and faith. These acts need not be monetary or physical in nature, as even simple gestures like a smile or a helping hand can be considered sadaqah.
Anyone can give sadaqah, regardless of the amount they are able to give. Some of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were known for their exceptional generosity, often donating large portions of their wealth while keeping only enough to cover their basic needs. A recommended approach for us is to divide our wealth between our necessities, savings, and sadaqah.
While the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave charity throughout the year, he would increase his sadaqah during Ramadan. According to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most generous person, and his generosity was at its peak during Ramadan (as narrated in the Hadith, Bukhari).
What are the benefits of giving sadaqah?

Giving Sadaqa not only benefits believers in this life but also in the hereafter. It has the potential to avert calamities, increase sustenance, and bring blessings into one’s life. Allah promises in the Qur’an that when believers loan Him a goodly loan, He multiplies it many times over and has control over overabundance and withholding. The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught that Sadaqa extinguishes sins and provides relief on the Day of Judgement. According to him, the shade of a believer on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity.
At Al Huda Way Organization, we utilize your Sadaqa to support and empower some of the world’s most vulnerable individuals. In the past years, we assisted 1.2 million people across 22 countries, alleviating their suffering.
Our organization provides aid to families who are struggling due to conflicts and natural disasters, such as the millions of people affected by the war in Yemen and the crisis in Syria.
